Gordhan Das Valasai is a mechanical engineering Ph.D. specializing in energy systems modeling and renewable energy. With over 14 years of academic and research experience, he has led integrated modeling projects, contributed to international collaborations, and published 31 articles on sustainable power generation, decarbonization, policy analysis, and energy security for developing economies. He recently secured €22,000 TUBITAK fellowship funding for advanced energy modeling research and has completed specialized training in energy system flexibility analysis using international modeling tools OSeMOSYS, MAED, and CLEWs. Expert in TIMES, LEAP, HOMER, and Python-based optimization, he has supervised 10 theses and mentored over 50 students in renewable energy projects.
