Dr. Inayatullah Kakepoto is an eminent academician known for his extensive teaching experience having served both at college and university levels showcasing his dedicated efforts towards promotion of higher education in the province. He is serving as Professor English (BPS-21) Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology Nawabshah and endeavors to accomplish set vision and mission of the university disseminating quality education and producing scholarly research in his area of expertise. He commenced his professional job career as a Lecturer English (BPS-17) from Cadet College Petaro (Pakistan Navy). He earned his PhD from a renowned university of Malaysia namely Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) where he focused on thesis project ‘Identifying Communication Barriers of Engineering Students of Pakistan for Workplace Environment’. He is HEC Approved PhD Supervisor having guided Doctoral students in the field of English (Applied Linguistics) and few of them have been awarded PhD degrees. He is a seasoned author and have authored 49 research papers largely published in HEC-recognized journals. Moreover, he has presented his research work in national and international conferences i.e., Malaysia, Turkey, and Pakistan. He is member National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC), Member Editorial and Advisory boards of world-renowned journals and Peer reviewer of many research journals. He is equipped with rich wealth of administrative experience i.e., Dean Quality Enhancement Cell, Chairman Department of Basic Sciences & Related Studies, and In-charge English Language Centre. He Statutory Forums member for instance Member Syndicate ‘The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur’ and Academic Council ‘The University of Larkano’ both distinctions conferred by Honorable Chief Minister Sindh as 'Eminent Person'. Besides, he holds notable roles in key governing bodies not only in his parent institution but sister universities of the province in terms of Member Senate, Academic Council, Board of Faculty, Board of Studies, and Selection Board which demonstrates his crucial influence in shaping academic and strategic decision making of higher seats of learning in the province.
