Biography

I, Dr. Wajid Ali Shaikh, currently work as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, QUEST, Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan. My bibliography is as follows: I was born in Larkana on 8th March 1970. In 1976, I started living in Hyderabad. My educational journey began in Hyderabad, and I completed my early education at these schools and college: Primary education at the Government Sindh National Academy Middle School, Latifabad, Hyderabad; Middle and Matriculation (SSC) education at Model School (old campus of the University of Sindh), Hyderabad; and Intermediate (HSC) education at the Government Degree College, Latifabad, Hyderabad. Further, I completed higher education, such as B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Hons), and M.Phil in Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (IMCS), University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Also, I completed a postgraduate diploma in computer science from the same institute, IMCS. For further higher education, I completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Mehran UET, Jamshoro, Sindh. My professional teaching career journey started in the year 2000 at Mehran UET, Jamshoro, and in 2010, for a good opportunity, I joined Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Sciences and Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics as a lecturer, and was promoted to Professor in 2025. My research area is applied mathematics, and more than 25 articles have been published in various Web of Science (Master's listed) and HEC-recognised journals.
