VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited from Sindh domiciled eligible candidates on the prescribed form for the under mentioned teaching and non teaching posts for Quaid-e-Awam University College of Engineering, Science & Technology, Larkano (Constituent Engineering College) and Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah.

Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC.
Experience: 15 years teaching/research/ administrative experience in a recognized Institution/ College / University
OR
15 years professional/ administrative experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 5 years must be teaching experience.
Research Publications: 15 research publications at least 05 publications in the last five years in HEC / PEC recognized journals.

Experience:  10 years teaching / research in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution.
OR
10 years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Research Publications: 10 research publications with at least 04 publications during last five years in HEC/PEC recognized Journals.

INSTRUCTIONS / FURTHER INFORMATION:

  • Applications should reach on or before 25.04.2014 during the office hours in the office of Registrar.
  • Applications should include two latest photographs; bio-data, attested Photostat copies of Certificates and names of two refrees. 
  • Application forms can be obtained from the office of Deputy Registrar (Coord & Meetings) during the working hours against the payment of Challan / Demand Draft of Rs.1000/-(non refundable) as processing fee.
  • Applications can also be made on the Form downloaded from our website: www.quest.edu.pk or on plain paper by giving full C.V. and other details which must be accompanied with a Demand Draft of the amount as mentioned above in favour of Director Finance QUEST, Nawabshah.
  • Candidates applying for the posts of above positions should submit four copies of their bio-data/C.V. as prescribed in the form alongwith required documents including details of Research Publications, in triplicate properly binded along with a brief CV.
  • Candidates who are already serving in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by NOC from the employer and will be responsible for getting themselves relieved properly from their departments.  An advance copy of the application(s) may be sent, so as to reach within due date.
  • In case of non availability of candidate(s), Age may be relaxed.  However, there shall be no relaxation for qualification, publications and experience.
  • Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council as Professional Engineer is mandatory wherever necessary.
  • Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with bank draft/ challan with necessary documents for each post.
  • Incomplete applications i.e. without educational, professional, experience certificates, processing fee etc or applications received after the specified date shall not be entertained.
  • The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised post(s) partly or as a whole.
  • Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
  • Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing at the interview/written test.
