Mathematics and Statistics..
Mathematics is one of the core disciplines of applied sciences and it has vide applicability in every discipline of engineering, science, accounting and commerce. Properly trained graduates in Mathematics and Statistics are also needed for the educational and research sector of the country including the province of Sindh. Therefore, to meet the needs of this region in terms of graduates and postgraduates in this particular field, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics is recently established and the first batch is to be admitted during the session 2006-2007 (07-Batch).
Initially, the department offers four-year (8-Term), undergraduate programme for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, BS(Mathematics). In the coming years, postgraduate programme will also be started.
The degree course has been designed considering all the needs and aspects of latest applicability of the subject in the field of Engineering, Computers, Information Technology and Commerce.
