Exact Solution to Unsteady Navier-Stokes Equations Through Transformation Methods

Abstract:

The equations governing the unsteady motion of an incompressible fluid of constant velocity are transformed into steady state equations using group method and the solutions to the steady state equations are obtained using hodograph transformation methods. all the solutions contains arbitrary time dependent functions enabling us to construct a large number of exact solutions to the flow equations.
