Eletrical Engineering..
The department offers four-year (8-term) undergraduate programme of studies leading to the degree of B.E.(Electrical Engineering), under the guidance of highly qualified and experienced teaching staff. The courses for the degree are framed in such a way as to facilitate young engineers to be able to work in the field confidently or undertake advanced studies and research in the related field. The courses offered are supplemented through laboratory work, demonstration at the related sites of work and group discussions. The laboratory equipment in six different laboratories of the department is state-of-the-art equipment.
Among other facilities, the department has a very modern power system simulator and a unique high voltage laboratory. This department had a linkage programme with Bath University, UK. Many teachers from both sides were engaged in research and higher training on mutual cooperation basis in the area of Electrical Engineering. Many faculty members of this department have Ph.D. and M.E. degrees from well-known universities of U.K.
