To create something which never existed was the main heritage of this part of world which can be clearly witnessed in the planning of Moen Jo Daro. The record of history depicts the achievement and the excellence of our predecessors in the field of science in general and engineering in particular. So we should feel the responsibility on our shoulders to act as the custodian of such a rich and productive heritage. In fact, we have to carry it forward.

Although this institution which is now known as Quaid-e-Awam University of engineering science and technology has a confusing past initially it was established in 1974 as a college campus of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology and later the University   was to be shifted here. But with the passage of time reversal of fortune happened and this institution remained as the college campus of MUET and the main campus was preferred to be at Jamshoro.

In 1996 the institution was upgraded to the status of University and named as Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology. The global technological advances urged to initiate new departments. The University now has nine diversified department in which the undergraduate and post graduate degrees are offered.

The University welcomes all the aspirants around the globe, who wish to excel in the field of engineering make their career in engineering and technology learn the ways of state of the art of engineering participate in the active research in a cordial, peaceful and hassle free environment let us make the world a better place to live.
